Brand New

I love anything new. The smell of a new baby. A new box of crayons. A fresh sheet of crisp white paper. The only problem with newness is nothing stays new. Before long the baby grows into a teenager. My oldest son is relentless. I first noticed this quality when he was around 4 years old. While I worked out at our local gym, my two boys played in the gym childcare.
