Before the heat and humidity engulf central Florida, our mild spring weather is a perfect opportunity to get outside and enjoy one of Lake County’s many parks. One of my family’s favorite parks is Ferran Park in downtown Eustis. Located on Lake Eustis, Ferran Park has something to offer everyone. My husband and I love to stroll along the lakefront walkway for a fun, free date night. As you stroll along the walkway, you are able to peek into Eustis’ history by viewing the restored sea wall, the Alice McClelland bandshell, or take a tour of the Cliffford house (see review here).
Of course, my kids love to play on the new play structure that resembles Spider-Man’s web. When the weather heats up, the Eustis Aquatic center is their preferred spot with the pool and new splash park, which provides a welcome respite from the heat. To learn more about Ferran Park, click here.
