Hollywood Brown Derby

Hollywood Brown Derby

Located near Hollywood and Vine, the Hollywood Brown Derby was a hot spot for stars during the Golden Age of Hollywood. Even though the Hollywood restaurant is no longer open for business, visitors to Walt Disney World, can dine in style at Hollywood Studio’s Hollywood Brown Derby. Like its namesake, the Floridian Brown Derby has a Spanish mission façade and is filled with caricatures of famous stars. One of the signature dishes is the Cobb Salad, which mimics the recipe of the California Brown Derby owner, Bob Cobb.

Our family’s first visit to the iconic Hollywood replica was as part of the Music of Pixar Live! Dining Package. With the dining package, guest may choose one of three dining venues. The three course meal includes reserved seating for the new Music of Pixar Live! (See article here.) The three course meal was $65 per adult and $22 per child. Ordering from the menu is considerably cheaper, with adult entrees ranging from $18-$49. The food was delicious. My favorite was my son’s gluten free desert, which was tastier than the regular desert. Unfortunately he only let me have a small taste.
