Beach front dining with a menu inspired from Florida and Louisiana cuisine, make Eaton’s beach an entertaining and relaxing location. Situated on Lake Weir in Weirsdale, Eaton’s Beach is divided into two separate restaurants and Sand Bar with daily drink specials.
On the first level is Eaton’s Beach Restaurant, where my friends and I began our girl’s night out. We sampled some of their signatures dishes including chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and fried green tomatoes. Award winning Chef Dave Del Rio’s “Florisian” cuisine was delicious.
The second level is the Sand Bar, featuring a full bar and Steam Shack with sandwiches, sides, and specialities such as peel and eat shrimp, crab legs, crayfish boil, oysters, and more. On weekends, live entertainment is featured. My friends and I enjoyed watching the beautiful sunset over the lake.
After eating, guests can experience Eaton’s private beach by swimming, relaxing under a beach umbrella, or playing a round of corn hole. Additionally, guests can enjoy rentals such as beach cabanas, pontoons, jet skis, paddle boards, etc. The restaurant has lots of seating and parking, with a parking shuttle serving the lots further out. My friends and I had a great night out and I am looking forward to bringing my family and out of town guests back.
